Presentation

Discover the Sulauze bamboo grove with Frédéric, the owner of the estate. This guided tour, with your feet in the water, will reveal the secrets of Crau hay and traditional irrigation, as well as introduce you to his Aubrac cattle.

The Sulauze farm estate is located at the end of a long plane tree-lined avenue. The entrance can be found on the left side of the RN569 road towards Miramas, just before the entrance to the wine estate. It is here that a true bamboo kingdom was created in the 19th century.

After a friendly welcome over coffee, the owner will take you on a tour of this unique and lush bamboo grove before inviting you to walk barefoot through the flooded hay fields.

Children will especially enjoy meeting the farm animals, including calves, cows and pigs.

Please wear open-toed shoes.

Access (from Istres): take the old road (D569N). The entrance is on the left before the winery, which is located further along on the right.
