Provence through and through, Istres has one of the largest markets in the department on Tuesday mornings in the town centre. Fruit and vegetables, Provençal specialities, clothing, utensils and toys are all available.
Over 200 stallholders at your service in the heart of the town...
1500 metres of various stalls.

This market features traditional food produce ranging from salted cod to aioli, from vegetables for pistou soup to olives or paella.

You can pick up some bargains from the clothing section throughout the year.
