For 2h30, in 30-minute sessions, the speaker and the audience will work on a defective appliance brought in by a participant, to discuss repair concepts and know-how.

At a time of growing denunciation of programmed obsolescence and the emergence of Fablabs, it's important to learn how to repair everyday objects yourself, whether electrical, electronic or otherwise.

The association 8 vies pour la Planète brings together engineers whose aim is to reflect on and implement actions to raise public awareness of various environmental issues, particularly those relating to technology.

The workshops on offer will be based on real-life cases of malfunctioning appliances, and will cover notions of safety, design, DIY and best practices.
