This initiation to wild basketry, in the heart of the bamboo grove of Sulauze, a unique place on the territory, will allow you to discover the basics of this artisanal technique and will allow you to realize a small decorative object to bring back home.
With Marie-Josée Paul, basket maker of the "Rameaux des Sentiers", you will discover the basics of this craft technique from the harvesting of the plants to their weaving.
For Marie Josée, "To be as close as possible to nature, to start with a common bramble, a rush or a bamboo, to explore in order to end up with an artistic or utilitarian realization is fascinating. Valuing the plant, looking at our environment differently, sharing my knowledge, give meaning to my activity ".
