Presentation

Discover the chapels on Saint-Etienne hill on a guided tour with Jean-Philippe, medieval archaeologist and member of the Division du Patrimoine Culturel (Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence).
The archaeologist/lecturer will talk about the history of our Provencal chapels, Saint-Michel and Saint-Etienne, both dating from the 13th century. Your guide will also explain the historical context of Provence at the time.

A free walk for the general public and history lovers, in one of Istreen's most beautiful panoramas, with a breathtaking view of the Etang de l'Olivier, the Etang de Berre and Sainte-Victoire.
