Presentation

A moving tale of apprenticeship carried by two vibrant young actors, it raises the question of solidarity and commitment, respect for rules and, in the mirror of exile, our humanity.
Déa is a young girl living in the north of France. At a party, she meets Énis, an unaccompanied minor and illegal immigrant. The two teenagers meet again, each sharing with the other a little of themselves, their dreams and their fears. He gives her the courage to assume her desires and make her own choices, and she gives him the confidence and strength to fight against the rigidity of a system. It's the start of a deep friendship set against the backdrop of a police investigation, as Déa decides to help Enis reach England.
Written and directed by Alexandra Badea, the Romanian-born author who won the Prix du Théâtre de l'Académie Française 2023 for her body of work.
