The town of Istres invites amateur, emerging, established and professional artists to take part in the "37ème GRAND PRIX DE PEINTURE DE LA VILLE D'ISTRES".
Theme: the promise
The prizes :
. 1st Jury Prize: €1,000, accompanied the following year by an exhibition at the Chapelle Saint-Sulpice, to be shared with the Jury Prize for the sculpture competition.
. 1st prize from the public: €500, wins an honorary invitation to the Amat'arts event and free admission to all workshops for the coming year.
Entry forms and supporting documents must be returned by post or hand-delivered to: Chapelle Saint-Sulpice, rue Saint-Sulpice, 13800 Istres by March 29 at the latest (open Monday to Sunday except Tuesday, 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 7pm), OR to the Palio, Direction des Événements, Boulevard Guizonnier, 13800 Istres from April 3, 2023.
Canvases can be collected from the Palio, Direction des Évènements, Boulevard Guizonnier, 13800 Istres, from the afternoon of April 3 (Canvas distribution hours: 9 to 11:30 am and 2 to 6 pm), except on the afternoon of April 18 for logistical reasons. For event reasons, canvas collection will be by appointment only from May 2, 2023.
