This unique journey brings together multilingual voices, period instruments and contemporary sounds.
Electrified recorders, high-voltage viols, continuous bass lines scratched on vinyl turntables, augmented loops on electric guitar: the works of Purcell, Monteverdi, Strozzi, and De Bailly are brought into a resolutely modern soundscape. Without altering the beauty of the melodies, the singers and musicians challenge genres and conventions to help us (re)discover the treasures of the Baroque repertoire.
