Presentation
Enjoy a walk through the Deven pine forest followed by a cyanotype workshop. After respectfully gathering plants, create a cyan-blue photogram using your collected elements and take home your own artwork.
Anne, a yoga instructor, invites you to join her in the Deven pine forest for a moment of observation and connection with nature. Along the way, you will be encouraged to gather flowers and plants with care and respect for the environment.
Back in the main hall of the equestrian center, you will then discover cyanotype, a monochrome photographic process in deep cyan blue that requires no camera. Using paper, iron salts, and the plants you have collected, you will follow each step to create your own photogram, using sunlight, air, and water to reveal the image.
Each participant will leave with their own A4-size artwork printed on watercolor paper.
