Join naturalist Thierry Vilette and discover the exceptional Crau Plain and its many natural treasures.

The last Mediterranean steppe in Europe, the Crau Plain is home to a remarkable diversity of birdlife, including bustards, lesser kestrels, stone-curlews and larks, which you may be lucky enough to spot. You will also be amazed by its low, steppe-like vegetation, filled with distinctive Mediterranean scents.

Meeting point: Parking area at La Grange in Entressen
Duration: approximately 3 hours

8:45 am: Welcome and gathering at La Grange parking area for carpooling
9:00 am: Departure by car to the Mas Chauvet site
