Presentation
Mire is a performative installation for twelve dancers, presented as a corporeal kaleidoscope. Throughout the performance, spectators are free to come and go as they please.
Standing up, the viewer observes male and female bodies multiplied through vertical slits in the zoetrope-like partitions of the scenography. Lying down, he discovers the living fresco as a whole, reflected in a giant mirror suspended from the ceiling, in constantly changing combinations. Bodies are stripped naked, where beauty and triviality merge in complementary harmony.
