United for a clean city! We don't inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children". It was on the basis of this quote from Saint-Exupéry that the "Istres Propre" project, an eco-citizen day, was launched in 2009.

On the program: garbage collection in various parts of the city, environmental awareness booths, games for children...

All volunteers, young and old, are invited to take part in this major eco-citizen waste collection and sorting initiative, the only one of its kind in the region.

- From 9 a.m.: garbage collection
To take part in the garbage collection, simply go to your neighborhood

- From 10 a.m.: festivities and entertainment
From midday: gathering on the esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle (opposite the town hall)

- All day long, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., your new "Hip Hip Hip Hop" RDV can be found at various venues around town: breakdance, graffiti, sliding, performances, hip hop, dance, battles, dj sets...
