From Chicago to Los Angeles, Route 66 winds through the desert. This “Mother Road,” celebrated by Jack Kerouac and John Steinbeck, embodies the American Dream and the conquest of the West. It evokes Harley, rock, ghost towns, and our nostalgia for an idealized America.
