Their musical dialogue, at the crossroads of folk and Mandinka traditions, weaves a sensitive bridge between West Africa and Europe.
Two decades after their first meeting, the Italian-British singer Piers Faccini and the Malian kora master Ballaké Sissoko are joining forces again with Our Calling, an album to be released in 2025. Recorded live in Paris, this project brings together an exceptional cast (Vincent Segal, Badjé Tounkara, Malik Ziad).
