Friends like thirds, fifths and tonics, violinist Thomas Briant, cellist Lisa Strauss and... accordionist (yes, you read that right, accordionist, not pianist) Théo Ould have decided to combine their talents for the better, and to rock.
To remind us that music is first and foremost the temple of feelings and the vessel of emotion, they have taken the name Philia. Didn't Mozart refer to his work as the search for " ' "?
Trio Philia quickly won the honorary prize at the Léopold-Bellan Competition, but above all they have received that which is priceless: public recognition. They work with composers who have a flair for communication, like Régis Campo. They are virtuosic, fiery, original and intense, and they bring great music to those who think they are far from it.
