Presentation

The urban sports trail in the old town, an innovative concept combining healthy exercise and the discovery of the town's tourist treasures.
The fitness trails, laid out on forest and/or urban routes, are suitable for all levels of fitness and enable everyone, alone or in a supervised group, to follow the public health recommendations of 30 minutes of daily activity or 10,000 steps/day in an original and fun way.

The urban sports trail in the old town, an innovative concept combining healthy exercise and the discovery of the town's tourist treasures.

Opposite the Port de l'Olivier, outdoor fitness equipment enhances the circuit: "Long live the steps, long live the columns, long live the benches and other balustrades...".

These natural supports are ideal for a range of exercises adapted to each individual's abilities, enabling them to achieve the 30' of daily physical activity recommended by health professionals. All while admiring the architectural and cultural heritage of old Istres.

All along the route, interactive terminals, accessible via compatible smartphones, will guide you in the way to perform physical exercises according to your abilities.

How does it work?
At regular intervals, panels will offer you examples of how to use each physical activity, as well as tourist, commercial and/or general information about Istres.
