Let yourself be guided for an afternoon on an initiatory journey around perfume in the magnificent Château des Baumes.
Touch, smell, listen, contemplate, create... Take part in a unique sensory experience to immerse yourself in the magical world of perfumery where you can even create your own eau de parfum.
Program
- From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Open to all.
. Small perfume market in the gardens of the Castle.
Scented candles. Dried flower decorations. Hydrolats. Balms. Herbs
Provencal herbs. Demonstration of distillation. Advice on essential oils.
. An extraordinary experience in the boudoir: blindfolded, let yourself be intoxicated by following a voice describing a scent diffused around you.
. Evocation of " L'Heure Bleue " by Guerlain, a mythical perfume, with Frédérik Marin, a specialist in the history of perfume.
- From 1:30 pm to 3 pm / From 3 pm to 4:30 pm / From 4:30 pm to 6 pm
Workshop "create your own eau de parfum" with the House of Fragonard.
Provide a 15 ml spray bottle to leave with your creation! Registration required.
The workshop will be followed by an olfactory journey in the Castle. From room to room, let your senses guide you and the smells.

Meeting with a Parisian nose and perfume designer: Anaïs Biguine
She will recount the romantic adventure at the origin of her house "Jardins d'Ecrivains". Inspired by emblematic women of literature, she creates perfumes in their image.
She will share with us her universe, inspired by these transgressive women, such as
such as Colette or George Sand, feminist icons of the 19th century.
She will then address the various more technical stages of the manufacture of a
perfume. From the search for the raw material to the final product in the bottle.
The discovery of Anais Biguine's perfumes, which will be an unforgettable experience, will be an essential part of this meeting.
Biguine, which will be an unusual and bewitching olfactory experience.
