The “Syndicat mixte des transports de l'Ouest étang de Berre” public transportation authority (grouping interconnected communities of Martigues and Istres) provides an urban transportation network to the 170,000 inhabitants of the 9 towns that make up these two interconnected communities of western Bouches-du-Rhône.

Now passengers of Pays de Martigues and Ouest Provence can take lines of the Ulysse network. Thus, the unified network has a new name and new coloured vehicles.
20 urban lines, including 3 intercity lines, link the territory of “Syndicat mixte des transports de l'Ouest étang de Berre”. This urban transportation offer is also completed by a transportation service on demand (Taxi bus or Allo le bus).
